For a guy who wants to use this on your face, it will NOT make it so you never have to shave. But what it WILL do is give you a baby-butt smooth shave plus some extra time between shaves. Lots of folks say this irritates them terribly or removes skin. Read the instructions on the bottle. They're pretty clear about trying this in a tiny, hidden section of *each* *new* *area* you want to use this on. Don't go slathering this all over yourself without testing it first! Sheesh. What works great for me is (again, thanks to Melissa's excellent review) to apply an even coat all over the face and neck, and let it sit for about ten minutes. Then, *following the directions on the bottle*, washing off with cold water and patting dry with tissue. Once it's all gone, proceed with normal shaving. Beard hair is much too thick to make disappear, but what it seems to do is weaken the hairs such that they fall apart at the sight of a razor. Amazingly smooth shave, with no pressure at all needed on the blade. And, I get an extra day or two between shaves. Without this, the next morning I'm annoying-to-me stubbly. With this, it takes about two and a half or three days to get to that point. Better, easier shave. Smoother results.
