I had to warn the family to be careful with the knives as they are sharp again. Being so easy to set up means it only takes me a moment to get the device on the table and ready for action. This means I will use it more often to maintain my sharp knives. If its a pain to set up and becomes a task I am not going to resharpen as often. This tool removes all that worry. I find myself even taking it our just to put a fresh edge on my finer knives before I cut a nice meat or carve a bird. Sure there are way to get even sharper knives but that is for people who enjoy the art of knife sharpening.
