Yes, it will fit the slik. The first picture is incorrect. (Not sure why that pic is on there ??) Anyway, I just bought a couple of them and works on the Slik just fine. I was a little confused by the first picture myself.

It should fit on the pan head. The threads for the bolt are universal and the platform on the pan head is the proper size for it to set on
