They have a very rich flavor, almost like a chocolate truffle. (The inner wafer is chocolate-flavored as well.)We let our box sit unopened in a warm kitchen cabinet for weeks or months before opening -- they did stick together a little bit and discolor, as chocolate products tend to do.
