Review: Love the product but HATE their color photos - Love the product but HATE their color photos. I initially bought the golden oak and WOW it was almost banana yellow. Then bought light oak a color no one here carries, so I bought online (at wonderful desertcart). This color is more of what I needed. It is easy to apply and when it dries the scent is almost gone but do not go by their color chart or you are screwed! They say to try out a hidden place....DO IT. Thankfully I just used a q-tip size. I used the danish oil on raw wood and it gives it an amazing, almost hand rubbed finish. Gave it a four out of five solely because of their lousy color chart.

A label was applied over the back of the can so you could not read instructions. The label was in an unrecognizable language. Its way overpriced. I recommend you buy at Lowes or Home Depot for fresh Danish Oil at a reasonable price!

**Q: Picture shows natural as the color but the description says golden oak. Which one is it?**
A: This number is Golden Oak the company listing these items originally only used the natural image for all items.

**Q: What does lo voc mean?**
A: Low "volatile organic compounds"

Roughly translated its low amount of potentially harmful vapor from being emitted.

**Q: I have maple splines in the walnut I was wondering will it ruin the maple?**
A: It will darken the Naples so that it will no longer look like maple. It will also darken the walnut likely more than you want. This product is not for walnut. It is for making lighter woods appear to be walnut.

**Q: Would this product prevent mildew in unfinished headboard?**
A: I think this product is great. By itself I don’t think it would prevent mildew but together with a water based polyurethane You should be in business if applied properly. Use enough coats of the polyurethane after you get the desired stain color.
