The doctor told me that it would go away on its own over time and I shouldn’t worry about it. But my daughter is a crier and every time she cried, the hernia protruded more and more. It terrified me and I wasn’t sure if my daughter was in pain. I asked the doctor if I should get this hernia belt for my baby. I even showed her specifically the pictures from here. The doctor stated these belts don’t work and I should save my money. But I went with my gut instinct and ordered this. I AM SO HAPPY I DID. The picture I have attached was just after 3 days of my daughter wearing this hernia belt. She is now on her 3rd week of wearing it and her belly button looks even better. This has been such an amazing product. It is easy to use and clean (and my daughter had a few diaper blow outs while wearing this); I threw the belt in the washing machine and it came out like new. The sturdiness of it did not change, the Velcro remained the same. Sometimes I put it directly over her stomach/skin. Sometimes I put it over her onesie. It has not irritated her skin or caused a rash. It works the same whether on the skin or over clothes. My daughter did not become fussy or uncomfortable from wearing it. She’s even able to sit up in her stroller with no problem of the belt bothering her. I highly recommend this product!
