Review: Excellent wired phone for our house line with caller ID on top of the handset - I ordered this AT&T TR1909 Trimline w/ Caller ID & Call Waiting (Black) from desertcart Warehouse Deals for the house line receptacle in our den (yes, in addition to our cell phones, we STILL have a house line 😁). We already have a hard-wired phone in our kitchen that works if our power is out, but I wanted to have a back-up and since there's a phone line receptacle in our den, that's where I put this phone and it works great, even if the power goes out. I really like the slimline style like the phones I remember as kid in the 80s, but this one weighs half as much and has the caller ID on the top of the handset, making it very easy to see whose calling without needing to go to the kitchen phone. An overall good value for a basic hard-wired phone.

I ordered this AT&T TR1909 Trimline w/ Caller ID & Call Waiting (Black) from Amazon Warehouse Deals for the house line receptacle in our den (yes, in addition to our cell phones, we STILL have a house line 😁). I love this phone. It fits perfectly on my small space table. It doesn’t take up a whole lot of room. It wasn’t very expensive but it’s not cheaply made. I will purchase this phone again when my others go bad.

This phone works fine if all you need is a basic landline for not a lot of money. The only thing I really don't like about it is the display as I find it hard to read but otherwise it works fine so far.
