**Q: Is this an authentic Sekiguchi  Monchichi doll?**
A: Honestly I don't believe so.  It is good quality, but didn't come in a box like the original ones do.  It did have an "authentic" tag...but I can't confirm for sure! :\

A: Yes they are very soft and the outfit was beautiful. It was just like the original my daughter had 30 years ago

A: It did come new wrapped up in a shipping box

**Q: Does this doll come in a box?**
A: Mine came in a display box. I ordered the boy too with yellow bib and that one came in a bag only. Maybe it depends on distributior that's available at the time you place older. I ordered mine Dec 9, 2014 and it was a gift.
