## Overview

Pebeo Setasilk Water Based Gutta in Gold is a 20ml tube of pearlescent, water-based paint designed for silk painting. It air dries in 30 minutes and becomes wash and dry-clean resistant after a quick 3-4 minute iron fix. Ideal for creating fine, opaque outlines using the Serti technique, it works on all silk types and offers precision application straight from the tube or pipette.

## Description

The Setasilk Water Based Guttas have a thick consistency and are used to create outlines - the Serti technique. The colors are pearlescent. The Guttas are used directly from the tube and nozzle or from a pipette and Gutta nib. They flow readily into the silk fibers forming a barrier to the color. Setasilk is applied afterwards. All the Guttas can be washed after having been iron fixed with the exception of the colorless Gutta which is designed to wash out leaving a white line on the fabric where it has been applied. Opaque and pearly. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.

J’ai utilisé ce produit pour sertir des motifs sur de la soie avant de procéder à la colorisation avec de l’encre setasilk de pébéo. Et j’ai utilisé également la Gutta avec des pochoirs, afin d’ajouter de petits motifs dorés en décoration. La couleur est très belle, l’embout permet des tracés fins, sèche assez rapidement, se fixe en repassant 5min sur l’envers. Très contente de mon achat.

Débutante en peinture sur soie. J’ai utilisé ce produit pour sertir des motifs sur de la soie avant de procéder à la colorisation avec de l’encre setasilk de pébéo.
