It held all my cards and ID, etc. and still easily snapped shut. I only gave it 4 stars though, as I would have liked a more convenient section to hold a checkbook. It does fit inside, but I will have to remove it to write a check. My old wallet allowed me to just flip it open. Also, the zippered change section is in the middle - may prevent closing when filled with change. Not a terrible problem as I don't like carrying a heavy load of change anyway.All in all, it is a lovely wallet. I no longer buy or want real leather, so this really suited me - it looks like suede and I know it will garner some compliments. There are slots(20) for cards everywhere; and four full length sections for money, notes, whatever.
