It did work for some previous Mac OS...** A: I got this for a 2010 MacBook running Mavericks and it works perfectly. When you get the keyboard detection window you just close it, the window even says it can be skipped if you're not trying to hook up a keyboard. Then go into keyboard settings for Keynote and map Start Presentation to F5 and the start button will work perfectly as well. **Q: is this compatible with my MacBook laptop computer** A: This Remote is compatible with new MacBook Pro's, using USB-C, when used with a USB adapter. I had a different (much cheaper) wireless remote that did NOT work when adapted to USBC. 2017 Model MacBook Pro, running Sierra **Q: Do you know if R400 works for google docs (presentation)?** A: Left/right and screen blank work natively on Google Slides, on ChromeOS, running from Chrome browser.
