I’m a professional stylist and I’m not a brand snob, I’m cheap and don’t like spending a lot of money on something when I can find something for less that does the same thing and while I got this without a lot of expectations, I can say I was VERY impressed with the quality and how well it works. I’ve been using it almost every day, multiple times a day, for over 4 years now and it’s still working great! My clients love the beachy waves I give them with this iron, but it also makes really nice curls as well. My only complaint is how short the cord is, I have to turn my chair quite a bit to get all sides of my client’s head but it’s a small inconvenience. I would absolutely buy another one of these when the one I have finally conks out! Review: Reduces frizz and styles well - I dont think the curls are as long lasting as i had hoped but this does its job well enough. Im happy to see my frizzy hair getting under control, at least, in this warm and humid country. Reasonably priced too. But this is NOT. So upsetting. I cannot return it because it is over 30 days. Pay extra and get one with auto shut off. Mine stayed on for 3 hours. :( **Q: Is this auto Shut Off? Some say yes, some say no.** A: Yes it is! And I know because my daughter leaves it on all the time! It automatically shuts off! **Q: Is this dual voltage & can be used on 220v?** A: Yes it is dual voltage and can be used on 220v. **Q: Does this item have duel voltage capability? The Conair website, same exact model, says it does.** A: This model CS221N is NOT dual voltage. It is clearly marked 120V on the packaging and on the iron itself. And if you go to Conair's website for this model, it says Single Voltage. Dual voltage ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Edit: use at 10 temp setting *by F***R on 19 October 2020* My hair normally curls really easily, but this iron didn't work for me. I would return if i could but too late. I should have known the price was too good to be true. I do understand this is a bigger barrel so i should only get waves, even those fall straight in an hour. Pros: gets hair nice and smooth Cons: curls/waves didn't last in my hair, barrel pulls on my hair, clamp is uneven and looser towards the spring, the turbo button gets pressed by accident all the time Edit: i prev gave this 2 stars but now 4. It seems that i can only get curls from this iron if i use it at 10 to 15 temp setting. Doesn't curl otherwise.
