And they work really well! **Q: Will it work for marine boat cable?** A: Hi, Base on the size of blade and precision cut, I recommend to only use the 430004 kabifix cable stripper on ROUND thermoplastic cable for example PVC & Polyurethane type jackets and not the harder material that may be found under these outer jackets for corrosion protection of the marine cables. Sorry if above was not helpful enough. **Q: Roughly what is the biggest o.d cable fits into this thing?** A: The Cable size is the opening minus the Blade depth. About 1.5 to 1.75 Inch, also depending upon the cable hardness. I liked using this tool once I was used to operating it properly. Setting the Blade depth can be tricky without any scrap to test with.
