I was really glad to find these and they have been great for us. **Q: Does it really take 1-3 months for them to arrive?** A: Mine arrived within two weeks. **Q: What are the dimensions?** A: They are not any larger than typical curtain rod rings. **Q: How wide do these open to clip on the rail?** A: I bought them because I use a curtain pole in my bathroom of SS 1.5 inch diameter. They fit nicely. I assume they will open enough to fit a pole of 1.75 inches. They are nice looking and shine. After some time the shine will dull a little but no rust at all. I guess he didn't check into standard sizes for the poles for that kind of thing because the pole he put up was larger in diameter. The nice rings I bought would go on, barely, but then they wouldn't move. He told me it was the fault of the rings, that they just didn't move well, and got me some of those rings you put into large batches of hole-punched paper when the stack of paper is too thick to fit a binder. Ugly. My housekeeper and I tried putting the old rings back on, and that's when we discovered that the pole was too large.Amazon to the rescue yet again! I searched on oversized shower curtain rings, and found these. They look like the ones I originally bought and loved, and they fit the fat pole really well. I have pretty rings in my shower curtain again, and they move freely, no problem. The rollers have lasted though when we take them down next season, I will probably give them a little oil soak to keep them rolling smoothly.
