## Questions & Answers

**Q: How does this compare to pelvic clock® exercise device for chronic lower back pain relief?**
A: I prefer the pelvic Clock to be honest, but I am pretty thin, so I think that has something to do with it. If the pelvic clock was not so ridiculously expensive, I would have one for home, and one for travel. But in the end, I do like them both

**Q: Is there a weight limit?**
A: Seller said 264 lbs in another question.

**Q: Is there a weight limit?**
A: Having used the balance tool for a few weeks and liking the effects on pelvic strength and flexibility l will answer with my opinion on effectiveness at weight limits: I would say you would not benefit on hard floors above 250 pounds. I would say 210 or so would limit on soft carpet as the tool and circular mat would sink too far into carpet. Hope that helps.

**Q: Does the pelvic rocker help with S.I Joint problems?**
A: It is important to consult a medical professional to assess your individual needs before beginning a new exercise program with the aim to lessen specific health problems, but generally speaking, the Pelvic Rocker is designed to assist with Sacroiliac Joint-related exercises.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At 67 it's helping me to regain my Mobility
*by on Reviewed in the United States 7 September 2026*

I am a 67 year old female I weigh 180 lb and I'm about 5 ft 4 . Many years ago I used the red pelvic clock With the blessings from a few different chiropractors, and I had great success.I have a double curvature of the spine so I have scoliosis, sciatica , hips that have serious alignment problems which eventually messed up my knees and shoulders. I lost my health insurance 12 years ago so I haven't been able to go to the chiropractor for years now , which was keeping me walking. Unfortunately, for the last year and a half I've had to resort to using a walker in order to be able to get around at all.I have severe pelvic tilt and a high hip. I have a terrible time sitting. For the last year and a half I can hardly sit long enough to make it through a lunch in a restaurant, or at any of my grandchildren's ball games.Fortunately last night, after only using this OPTP pelvic rocker a handful of times I was able to sit through a ball game without the excruciating pain, and numbness that my sciatica usually causes me. I can tell a huge difference in my sciatica pain already.I still have my red pelvic clock however, now that I've put on 40 lb and I'm 15 years older I could not hardly stand touse it. It is probably half the size of this blue one and it hurts so badly. It's a very hard plastic where this one is more rubberized feeling. This one fits my 180 lb body so much better then that hard red pelvic clock. Although when I was younger and smaller the red one worked amazingly well. I just quit using it 15 years ago for some reason. Which I now regretHaving said that, this OPTP pelvicrocker does slip and slide on the mat but I think because I already knew how to do the pelvic clock from using it 15 years ago that experience has helped me figure out how to use this thing. I don't use it while sitting up, I haven't tried that yet. I lay on it But I have to keep readjusting it. This is how I do it. I actually made a therapy bed by buying a daybed, I put a heavy piece of plywood on it, then a good quality gymnastics mat on top of the plywood. The bars on the back of the daybed gives me something to anchor myself to well I'm rocking back and forth and stretching my pelvic. In my experience of using these devices for many years you have to Anchor your body while rocking back and forth and stretching your pelvic. If you're just using it out in the middle of the floor with nothing to hold on to you will slide all over the place. Even when I useed the red pelvic clock back 15 years ago, I still had to do it near a heavy piece of Furniture where I could reach over and anchor myself to keep myself from sliding around. Both of these products slide around on you. You have to be able to Anchor yourself. When I bought this blue one I thought the mat would take care of that problem but it doesn't. However, I still gave it five stars because after only using it a handful of times it allowed me to sit through a ball game without the agonizing pain, numb hips, numb legs and feet which I always got from sitting before. With the help of my homemade therapy bed, this OPTP pelvic rocker, My castle Flex stretcher, a squat assist machine, my vibration plate, and an under the desk elliptical, I hope to be able to regain my Mobility . My goal is to be able to walk again without a walker by the end of the year.1 TIP for the older folks reading this. I wish so badly that I would have learned to begin this therapy before I started using a walker. Somebody had given me a walker. My plan was just to use it at night to help me to get to the bathroom, because having such a curved spine and hips are out of alignment it throws your knees and shoulders off so badly. I was in so much pain I started using the walker. However, once you do that, your legs become so weak that you cannot walk at all. Now at 67 I'm trying to rebuild the muscles in my legs, and get my hips aligned enough so that I can walk again. For me to have only used this a few times and have already noticed a huge Improvement with my sciatica pain to where I could sit through my granddaughters soccer game literally made me cry.So the bottom line for me is this is an amazing device, just like the pelvic clock was. But it's much softer and much larger than the red pelvic clock. It will slip around, even with the mat, but you have to Anchor your upper body holding on to something very stationary. I also do my tilting stretching exercises slowly and that makes a big difference as well.Hope this helps somebody.
