Why not?** A: You can use it for other connectors that are solder. I just double check measurements after stripping the cable and before soldering center pin. I mainly use this tool on the Times EZ N type connectors which require no soldering. **Q: Has anyone used this on 9913?** A: If the specifications for 9913 are close enough to LMR400, then it should work. **Q: Will it strip RG-8 correctly if needed?** A: I have one and it only works on LMR-400 (Times Wire). It is slightly different than RG-8, but the biggest problem for amateur use is that it is designed for N connectors. It cuts the center conductor too short for a PL-259. It is perfect for LMR-400 and N connectors. DX Engineering has things you might like for RG-8. Give them a call into their tech line. The are great people and very knowledgable! Hope this helped! **Q: Does it work with lmr 400 ultra flex?** A: It woks great with regular LMR400, as for ultra flex, I don't know. However, last evening I was installing a new repeater and had to use some cable expert coax that was similar to LMR400 and it worked great. It is a great little tool and makes things so much easier than cutting and snipping.
