I thought there would be a mascara-like brush to apply it to the whole lash. Instead, there is a thin brush. I figured it was only supposed to be applied to the base of the lash. I haven't really noticed any difference. I had to get my glasses out... also, the other had things on the box such as no animal testing..Non irritating if it gets in the eye... and will not discolor eyes which ...prompted me to look up why they would say that as I am new to this type of product...... and as it turns out some of them can discolour eyes and skin.. with the eyes I think it's more with light eyes.. not a problem for me ....with skin it could be anybody..🚩 THIS brand had a warning NOT to get it in the eyesAnd if so to immediately rinse.. Well I didn't get any in my eyes.. I was very careful ..while I was reading this my eye was starting to get itchy and watery ..so this really made me nervous...For the applicators.. I find the OTHERS sponge one easiest..This is liner type..Both are clear water type so its hard to seeThat you are applying it fully but not enough to makeIt drip..... Both need to blot excess first.. This spongeIs much easier to see that the excess is blotted thanThe tiny brush..OTHER one says complies with regulationsIn USA Europe and Japan.. I have just started using it, but I am at an age where my eyelashes and eyebrows are beginning to thin, and I am hoping this product will slow down or maybe even reverse the process. The light oil comes in a tube with a tiny applicator brush. I paint the oil on my brows and the base of my lashes twice a day. This is an easy process. The opening of the tube is very narrow, so the brush is slightly wiped as it comes out so that the oil goes on without running down the face or getting in the eye. It dries quickly without leaving any oily residue. So, it is a painless process, and I am hopeful that after several weeks I will see an effect.
