## Questions & Answers

**Q: Anyone knows how long does the battery lasts?**
A: I had the prior version of this calculator, it got a couple of years off of a battery (I also have this one but it doesn't see the use my old one did). On a related note, my old BA II calculator lasted about 20 years. Note that this calculator takes the thin round batteries and it is not the easiest thing in the world to change the batteries.

**Q: does this have a carrying case?**
A: Not a carrying case, but it has a hard slip cover that goes on the front of the unit to protect the display area and the buttons. Thanks.

**Q: does this come with a battery (how many?) and/or a power cord? what about a manual and a cover? some reviews say yes, some no.**
A: No battery is required. No power cord is required. It includes a cover but no manual on hand

**Q: Pv=70,000 annual interest 5% number of monthly payments 240 monthly payment is calculated to be 350 not correct what am i doing wrong ?**
A: Is interest rate nominal? If so, the effective rate to enter for I/Y is (.05/12)x100... if it’s annual effective rate, I/Y=(1.05^(1/12)-1)x100. Enter -70000 as PV and n as 240 and the appropriate I/Y and see what you get when you compute PMT. :-)
