Review: Lightweight and Easy Up - Just got this today. I set it up in the backyard. I found the instructions on the inside of the carry bag AFTER I had it up. Very intuitive and quick setup. It's roomy inside, I'd say 3 adults, or two adults and a couple kids. The fabric is on par with most tents and the poles are sturdy. There are two inside mesh pockets and a hanging hook in the center. The two side windows are mesh with flaps that secure inside. This isn't a good shelter for rain heavier than a drizzle. The extra flooring in front folds up to create privacy. The tent stake loops on the front flooring double as loops to go over the top front poles for added security. There are also 2" strips of hook & loop along the seams in the front. They don't feel strong, so I'm happy to be able to put the loops over the poles. Putting it away was a bit harder than setting up. The fabric is light weight and doesn't like being rolled back into the storage state. I managed both setup and teardown alone. Setup 3 minutes, teardown 7 minutes. I must say, this thing is LIGHT! I've carried camp chairs that are heavier than this. I'm taking it to the beach next month and will update how it handles wind and sand. **UPDATE** I've had this to the beach on two trips, to a large community picnic, and three camping trips. It has held up remarkably well considering it has been a play area for toddlers, a dog shelter, a changing room, a nice place to nap, a generator shelter, and a wood shed. I keep this in the back of my truck, and it has also been a nice bit of shade when hanging out with friends. Love this super convenient tent. UPDATE Two years, lots of camping trips, stays at the beach, and outdoor events. This has held up very well. Still in great shape.

**Q: Our beach has constant 15 - 20mph winds.  Can anyone attest that it will hold up in these conditions - we’ve struck out several times.  Thanks!**
A: we had 15 - 25 mph winds at the Outer Banks and the tent stayed up with no problem as long as you keep the window flaps open and put the back of the tent into the wind. Bring along better tent stakes...the short thin ones work fine for the guylines but are not sturdy enough for the anchor points. The sand pouches are the best for keeping the tent on the ground in windy conditions and you can just turn them inside out to empty them!

**Q: My local beach (Santa Monica) only allows “sun shade without walls”  does this tent fall in that category?**
A: Your mileage may vary. Plenty of homeless with tents on the beach and dogs both on/off leash (dogs not allowed either).  Just depends on which lifeguards are on duty and if they feel like enforcing it. I imagine if all the flaps are open then they won't mind so much.  Having the flaps open allows for transparency - you can't hide your illegal activities if everything is open.
