Brought cocoa beans from different vendor on Amazon. But one thing I learned is don’t compromise quality for cost.I brought this beans since cost was cheap but I should have known. Worst beans I have brought so far.Started with package, beans were in regular plastic bag with news paper wrapping.I brought 2kg. But 300+g out of 2kg were removed during initial screeningBut each bean were so unequal roasting was the totally difficult.After, winnowing took almost a whole day. Since beans were so thin and unequal in size it’s too difficult also. they broke tiny piece and after filter removed even more. Some broke into power rather than nips. After all struggle I ended up 700g only out of 2kg weight.Most of the bean waste (not husk) are are due fungal growth.So finally after much struggle made the chocolate.
