In most cases it will work well without priming. Loctite makes a primer to make CA glues like 401 work on the infamous polyethylene, polypropylene and similar plastics. When used on acrylic, the glue vapors can fog the surrounding plastic. Loctite support suggested I use a fan when gluing up the parts to blow the vapors away, if cosmetics are a big issue. This is generally not a problem but I thought I would pass the hint along **Q: How full is the bottle? Mine was only half way full** A: a little over half way full. **Q: I want to glue 3d printed, PLA letters to a (not finished) pine board surface. Do folks think this glue will bond to the wood? tx.** A: Absolutely **Q: Will this product bond actate/plexiglass to itself without clouding?** A: I use this product for gluing pool cue tips onto the cue sticks.
