We are wintering away from home, and he was missing his Bodum french press, we tried the cheapo glass/plastic one, no bueno. I decided to get him another one for our winter place and saw this on Amazon and liked the reviews and ordered it. 1/3 of the price of Bodum, but very similar design. He said it is just as good as the more expensive french press, keeps coffee hot, pours well, handle is secure...all-in-all almost identical to the more expensive Bodum and works just as well.
