This kit includes a motor, fan blade, and grommets, ensuring a complete replacement without the need for housing. Compatible with major brands, it comes with installation guidance to make the process straightforward and safe. ## Description This is a fan blade and motor kit only. Does not include housing. This kit will only work if you do not need new housing. With huge savings, you can get the same result as purchasing the entire unit. This motor comes complete as all you have to do is unplug the refrigerator. Unscrew all screws on the back bottom plate. Then you just unplug the fan motor and slide the housing out towards you. From there you will need a Philips screwdriver and you can unscrew the motor housing to access the motor. In many cases, the fan blade is hard to get off and may snap into two pieces or more. Therefore we've provided you with a new blade so that you don't have to worry about that issue. Remove the fan blade and the motor (be careful as it can be hot to touch) and then install the new motor and blade the same way. Plug back in and test the unit before putting back of panel back on. The fan will not start right away, but after about 10 to 20 seconds after the compressor starts the fan motor should activate and come on. ## Features - Please see Model Number fitment information at the bottom of this page before placing your order for this part.
