I used it to repair my commercial kegerator which needed a re-charge of R290 refrigerant. R290 is purified and dried Propane gas and it is important to do a leak test with the detector before, during and after recharging. This was a quick repair/recharging and I saved a lot by buying this rather than calling out a repair person. It was the most expensive part of the kegerator repair, but the detector is well made and I am sure will give many years of service.
