If you want a very sweet and creamy drink, you can obviously add sugar/stevia and milk/cream, but I prefer to have it plain, just a heaped teaspoon in a large mug of hot water. So easy, just as yummy, and free of calories and dairy. I have to admit, I actually bought this for my bhabi, who doesn't take caffeine and is coming to visit. I've had chicory drinks myself before and wasn't overly enamoured with them. I found them bland, odd-tasting and uninteresting. But I thought I'd try it out before she arrived, just to make sure it tasted okay. And, boy, I was blown away by the flavour. Just loved it. So now I'm a chicory convert!
