Review: Very Best Sealer I've used and I've used some good sealers in the past! - We had just over 600 sq feet of Travertine Natural Stone Tile put in 20 years ago and not being an experienced person in tile maintenance, which you need to be IMHO, well versed in knowing what, when and how to keep it looking great since it can be a phenomenal asset to your home. As you can see by one of the pictures (I'll let you guess which one) that the tile had been sorely neglected and that one picture is actually AFTER I had completely stripped and scrubbed all the wax and sealer off it completely. The Tile actually looked like there was at least some hope, but the grout, well, it is so bad that I worried desertcart would cancel my Prime Membership if they saw it. Nevertheless, it had to be thoughtfully addressed so I used a Grout Refresh product on it and prayed a lot that this project would eventually turn out respectable after the several days, yes, more than many had I spent getting it Sealer-Worthy. This is where the Black Diamond Wet Look Stone Sealer comes in. I do have some, but limited DIY experience with sealers and know they can go horribly wrong (this is where the suicide hotline comes in) then it's a complete disaster to fix. I read a couple of unfavorable reviews with pictures and can only suspect they did something wrong. This sealer is by far the best sealer I've ever used. Follow the clear and concise directions, like don't shake it, don't let it puddle, use specific applicators, I used a pad applicator because they're simple to use and applies the sealer uniformly. Let it dry one hour between applications and apply 3 coats max, all of which I did. This Sealer performed flawlessly as you can easily see. I now have 3 excellent coats of a top-grade sealer and seriously can't believe the outstanding beauty it restored to my Tile. I give Black Diamond Wet Look Stone Sealer 5 solid stars for a superior quality product, ease of application, brilliant, finished look with zero imperfections, fair pricing and restoring my faith in sealers again. Thank you, Black Diamond, I'll be using more of your products in the future.
Review: You need the wet look after using color enhance!! - ✨️Another great product from Blue Diamond! Wet look product AWESOME. I just wrote a review for the color enhance product applied to my brick fireplace, average size 3 side wrap around, mantle and load ledge. I applied the Wet Look product after dry time of sealant. Easy, fast application with brushes, 3" and narrow 1" for mortar crevaces this time. At first I applied along the grain pattern of brick, then I started going across grain, not sloppy, dabbed off excess brush capture before each brush dip. 1 quart again the right size for my job. The result was even better! Now I have a natural looking end result where color is further enhanced and the gloss is variegated. My brick is nearly dawn of time, with many textures, no illusions here. Not a glassy glossy epoxy look. Rather super clean, well cared for, intriguing color and hue with gloss. It no longer looks dusty, crushed with ash and so old we should rebuild it. So happy with the product in Colebrook, NH!✨️ to private for a picture, sorry. Not a liar, however. Gotta have this....water soluble, low odor, clean up's a breeze.

**Q: How do you apply it? Brush, spray bottle, pesticide spray hose etc? I'll be using it for about 30 stones approx 7"x7"**
A: We applied it to a slate floor with a wool pad applicator, made for applying floor finishes. Worked well. We were going to use a paint roller, but since the instructions didn't mention that in its list of ways to apply, I was worried it may create bubbles or cause problems. The instructions do list a pad applicator, paint brush, or low presure sprayer. The consistemcy out of the bottle is about like skim milk, or watered down Elmers glue. Dries within an hour, pleasant smell, easy to work with. Did 3 coats. We are extremely pleased with the results.

**Q: fire pit sealers for hi heat?**
A: I'd have to say no on that one. It could probably take a little heat but anything close to direct flames, forget it.

**Q: I am building a bar in my basement that has a stone front. Would this be a good product to enhance the stone color and give it a more lively look?**
A: If you are looking to enhance the color and seal your stone please use our Color Enhancer. The Wet Look is a topical Sealer that will add a gloss to your stone but will not darken your stone.

**Q: After applying, how long do i have to wait before i can cut my tile**
A: 24-48 Hours.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not for polished stone or tile

I wanted a product for polished stone, that would be weather proof. This wasn't the product I used for that. In the directions it clearly states DO NOT USE ON POLISHED STONE OR TILE. So I returned it and bought "CoverSeal AC250 WB Acrylic Natural Stone Sealer, Gloss Finish" it was one of 2 Products I seen good for polished stone outdoors. I give it 4 stars because I'm sure the product will look great with natural stone or brick. I can't fault them except maybe better clarification on their Amazon page.
