If you are concerned I would go to a local bike store to double check. **Q: How about the frame protection? Does it work to carbon frames?** A: I have a carbon bike and have had no issues. Just keep the bike clean and then grit won’t rub on the frame between the clamps. No issues with tightening on frame. **Q: Im 6'8" on an XL frame and 29" tires, would anyone know if my knees would be in the way of the childs seat?** A: Even at shorter heights (I’m 5’10”) you’ll have to pedal “around” your kiddo a bit.
