I wanted a lock that was quick to install, didn't require drilling, and didn't make opening the cabinets an arduous task. These fit the bill. In one cabinet, the frame was a bit offset from the door at the top so I had to attach them upside down at the bottom and they work great. On all my kitchen cabinets, they've successfully kept my curious 15 month old out. I was very reluctant to get the locks in the first place, but he was so adamant about getting into the cabinets that I caved. I'm so glad I got these.Once installed, you can flip a lever in order to engage the lock when it closes and from there, it just won't open. It feels like I'm more likely to break the cabinet than open the cabinet if I really pulled hard. My 15 month old doesn't stand a chance. When I don't want them on, I just flip the lever on the inside so that they're disengaged and then I don't have to unlock them each time. I keep the magnet releases on the fridge, so it is never really inconvenient for me.I liked them enough to buy a second batch, and in that batch I had a few duds - the lock wouldn't pop up when engaged. The owner of the company had already personally reached out to me to ask me how I liked them, and I told her my dilemma. She asked no questions at all, and about a week later I had a new batch.Great product, great service - can't ask for much more. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It would have worked otherwise... *by R***H on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2017* It doesn't really work with cabinets where the roof of the inside of the cabinet doesn't align with the top of the cupboard door. It also doesn't really work with cabinet doors that have a raised edge around it. Basically, the edges of the cupboard door have to be flat and the interior roof has to align with the a flat part of the cupboard door.They provided two replacement sticky pads for each of the "clicker" part and the "catcher" part, but I used them up trying to realize that the product will not work on my cabinet. I got these to cat-proof my cupboards, and I can tell they would have worked fine otherwise. ### ⭐⭐⭐ KIND OF A PAIN 😑 *by C***C on Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2018* Bought these about a year & a half ago. Most of them are still on the cabinets but, they are very easy to pop off with a good yank. They were very easy to install so that was a huge plus considering we installed 10 & it wasn’t too time consuming. The downside, the magnets don’t do the best job responding to each other so that gets VERY frustrating & the kids have trouble getting into the cabinets when needed. The magnet used to open the cabinets got lost within the first couple months but, we were able to find a good replacement at Home Depot. Considering how long most of them have lasted I’d say we got our monies worth but, I plan to try a different style for the cabinets that still need “child proofing” (or in our case “ferret proofing”). I would say the magnet concept isn’t the greatest idea for something like this, that’s my biggest complaint.
