This one ticked all the boxes and more. It has 7 levels of brightness for the clock which includes completely off. It has battery backup, alarm settings for weekdays, weekends or everyday, and one really cool unexpected feature, the skip alarm function. This function allows me to press the button and it will skip the next time the alarm is to go off. After that day, it will continue as normal. This is great for holidays! When I put my phone on it, it fits easily, plenty of room for cases. They would have fixed this feature as that was the only comment that was negative as I was reading. Also, I put my phone in, it will sync and set the clock. I have also been able to set my mini iPad in the dock to charge etc. If I had to say something negative, it would be that it does not include a little remote control like my last clock, so to play music from my phone, I have to touch the phone. For me this is not a huge issue. The sound quality is good and I like how when my alarm goes on, the volume starts low and then increases to my set volume. Oh, one last thing, the buttons on the top are lightly lit too, where its brightness is set along with the time as noted before. For right now, I feel it is the best clock I have ever had! It was well worth the expense I had to take on to have it ship to my mom in the states and she ship out to me in New Zealand! It's pretty sleek looking and works fine in the area I have it in so the size is not too much of a big deal for me. I got the white and silver dock.I took away a star because I needed to buy an extension in order to keep my case on to charge and/or play music from. It might not matter to others but it matters to me as I don't want to keep swapping out cases just for this dock radio. You'd think this would be something companies would just know to extend by now.The sounds is pretty crisp and clear and I love that the time syncs to the phone. No more using the dial to change clocks that are either too fast or too slow. Yay! I don't use this to entertain but rather to just listen to music while I'm in the shower/getting ready so I can't speak to how loud or well this would sound if you wanted to use it when having guests over. It's loud enough for me though as I like to pump up the volume. ;)I'm able to charge my 7 and 6s at the same time with this this dock so that's a plus. I had my 7 docked while I was listening to music and my 6s was connected via the USB port in the back of this dock. Pretty neat and beats having to have 2 devices to charge my phones.It does not have Bluetooth but I wasn't looking for that as I have other Bluetooth devices. Overpriced for what it is. Your iPhone or iPad will not dock with this if you have a case no matter what the description says. I have the smallest bumper case on my phone and the thinest leather case on my iPad and they will not dock at all. I suggest purchasing a nicer internet radio.
