I had to put it on over my head instead of stepping into it. There's just not enough stretch for it to make it over the hips without popping stitches. I'm 5'9" 140 lbs. and the length hits at my ankles. I was shocked. It's a great length--rarely happens with my long legs. Fabric is soft, pockets don't add bulk, stitching is smooth, hem is even, super comfy and flattering. Denim color is a dustier, more faded shade than I hoped for. Quite different from the color shown, but I will make it work. Glad I purchased this!Edited: I received the navy floral version of this skirt today. I can easily step into this one as the proper stitch was used to attach the stretchy waistband. It's a little shorter than the solid denim one but still plenty long. It was shipped in a plastic bag and placed in our mailbox. The fabric survived that very well! I could get away without ironing it straight out of the bag if I wanted to, so it'd be a great choice for traveling. Ordered an XL here and fits but the waistband is either sewn a bit too snug or the inner elastic is slightly too tight.It's that weird situation where you can strategically stretch/pop the waistband on each side to give the perfect fit, without actually ripping or damaging anything important.
