The book gives you the basics, however I feel that there is very little in the contents that you can't find on a journal or with a little research. If you really are confused by the plot of the the novel itself then by all means buy it to help get your head around the plot and what each chapter means, but if you are looking for anything deeper than that then I suggest doing some research online instead.
