Great for old and unusable debit cards, junk mail, as well as shredding papers with personal information on them. You can shred about 6 sheets at once and 1 card at a time. I love the it came with a reverse direction option as well as a universal bucket. It doesn't fit together in any specific way, it'll work facing either direction so i never have to worry about putting it back together backwards. Not to mention, it can hold a lot of shredded bits inside the bucket as well which comes in handy a lot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adequate for home use *by B***M on September 22, 2017* My last Fellowes shredder lasted for ten years. That is primarily why I chose this one to replace it (obviously, when the original began to fail). The other reason I selected this item is because of the price.Now that I have used the new shredder, I can say that this one should adequately suit my personal needs .However, it is small and very lightweight (a bit top-heavy). It performed as expected with the exception of shredding credit cards and the like. After the first pass, I found that the credit card was not shredded, but scratched up. It came through in one piece.
