There is an aftertaste, my wife doesn’t like them for that reason but I don’t mind it because it give me energy right away! I chew it up & then give it 2 minutes & BAM! New me! These did NOT work for what I purchased them for—which is a substitute to get off of nicotine mints. Terrible size, OK taste. The result is about what is expected for the amount of caffeine in these mints. Not a great value for the money, so so ingredients. I would not purchase again, and this item is not eligible for return (buyer beware before purchasing).
