What kind of protection for the laptop does it have?** A: I bought this product for my wife to protect her MacBook Pro. The padding in the compartment for the laptop is about 1/4in thick with the feel of a potholder. She has used nothing else to protect her laptop. We have had no issues with this bag. It has ample room for accessories. I would purchase products like this again. It is not military grad protection, but as stated before we have found it to be a good bag. **Q: Will this bag fit a Macbook Air 13in?** A: It will fit perfectly the 13" inches Macbook Pro/Air and iPad, together with Microsoft Surface Pro4 and other models with screen size, not more than 13". It has enough of inside compartments, to fit the AC adapter, a couple of files/magazine of A5 format, some slim notebook/diary, slim portable charger or hard disk drive of iPhone 6/7/8 size.
