thinking about them being knocked off of a desk by kids...** A: Jennifer, I haven't dropped mine, fortunately, but if it were to drop--on the floor, for example--I think there's a high likelihood it would crack or chip--after all, it's mostly a sheet of glass. However, the glass has what appears to be a thin plastic layer bonded to its underside, so I doubt it would shatter like a window. It must be understood it needs to be treated more carefully than its non-glass counterpart. **Q: Are the easel and clip parts removable?** A: The clip part is. The easel is attached to the back, but folds against the back of the board to allow it to lay flat. **Q: Mine did not come with an eraser or drawer Seems the description is not for this product but for the keyboard version. Also what if the marker that comes with it dries out? Some say regular dry erase markers even those for this brand bleed.** A: Drawer is for the slanted keyboard style board. You can purchase more dry erase markers made by Quartet here on Amazon. **Q: Unfortunate it doesn't appear to also include magnet on back, to keep table/work area clear when not working? (Not all of us have 'office/desk space')** A: you are correct, there are no magnets. That’s how I stumbled upon this life saver product. Although it’s a bit expensive than 1 or 2 other similar alternatives available on Amazon, a bit research showed that Quartet is a known brand and this product is quite reliable. So I decided to get it at then listed β‚Ή1686. Pros: 1. Extremely useful and reusable if you scribble notes a lot. Attached a picture for side by side comparison with my previous note taking. 2. Fits at work desk – neither too big nor too small and aptly elevated. Size is equal to that of a standard keyboard (see attached picture). 3. Bottom storage drawer comes in handy to store small stationary items and reduce desk clutter. Cons: 1. Expensive 2. The bottom storage is only half the length (see attached picture) so it can be attached on either side of the board. They should instead provide 2 bottom storage containers on both sides for more storage since the design already supports that. Plus it’s already that expensive so throwing in an extra plastic drawer would be very welcome for customers. Bonus: Prefer glass board markers for this as the normal whiteboard ones might not be bold enough for this.
