Is this a suitable game for kids?** A: I play with my 7, 10, and 11 year old. My 7 year old is very attached to this game now, and it was a great experience (I read his cards for him). Some cards are not applicable for young kids, and I'll scanned them before I hand them a card just to make sure they have a card that will make sense to them, but all 3 kids love to play this with me and it brings us a lot closer as a family. **Q: How many players are needed to play this (minimum)?** A: 2 minimum. Also, I've played with as many as 10 or 11 players, although the game is designed for 2-8 players. I personally tend to most enjoy 3-6 player games. I've had some very interesting 2 player games too. **Q: This game sounds phenomenal. But I do see a common thread through the reviews of missing pieces, and bad printing being hard to read. Fixed yet?** A: Hello, I'm the creator of the game. In the first printing the rule book and cards had a black background, with white or colored text. Some people had trouble reading it, so we changed all the small text to black text on a white background, and we haven't heard of any issues since then, so it seems to be fixed. As for missing pieces, this is pretty rare, but when it does happen occasionally we mail out the replacement pieces to the customer. Also, in the first printing there were two decks of cards that were shrink-wrapped together, since one of the decks was only 12 cards. Before opening all the decks, some people thought they were missing a deck of cards, and when they contacted us we told them they were packaged together. Excelente herramienta para la familia, amigos y terapia. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feels Expensive, But Great Ice Breakers for Shy or Anxious People *by J***W on 1 October 2019* For a price of $55 + shipping, it feel expensive for a simple board game. It's just a board, a few decks of different themed question and challenge cards, a bag of plastic gems are punch out tokens (used to keep score), colored player tokens, a large dice, challenge log sheets, and a minute hourglass timer. The game isn't very complicated and you could simulate most of the game without the game's items. Do you really need to pay for nice printed paper to record your challenges? No I guess you can record them anywhere. You're paying for the experience mostly. The colored gems tokens (awarded for completing a category) also feel unnecessary, but likely do help as positive reinforcement for people needing to open up and be social. Just remember, it's not about the game itself, but the experience it's meant to foster. I didn't know before buying here, but there is a link online to generate random cards and it appears the creator is encouraging his audience to be creative and not worry about the game pieces themselves. So, don't let the price hold you back. I got the game for my girlfriend who has a lot anxiety and it did help us open up and talk about issues. While it's advertised as a therapy tool, it's more about relationship building in general. I feel it's great for any stage of couples. I also brought it to a church group once and it worked well there for a more spiritual application. There are "winners", but the game isn't about winning or losing. It's about sharing your stories and growing as a group. While some cards explicitly say they are challenges, you should feel to make anything a challenge that's appropriate for the discussions. The game also gives you blank cards for you to be creative and fill in. I would recommended it if you have a need for it. If you have a loved one that is very shy, autistic, or needs some kind of counseling, then this game is great for them to loosen up and share their feelings. I wouldn't say it's a "party game" because some questions might come across as very personal and might not suit the mood for a party. The game encourages you to not put pressure on anyone to answer or challenge them if they aren't comfortable, but still could feel awkward if the game is forced in a group that doesn't know what they are getting into... on the flip side, if you just plan on getting the game for your best friend and you, well you might already know most everything about each other. But adapt the game and make it work if you want. On that note, I felt relieved there were no inappropriate cards. There's nothing sexual or too invasive. So the game is okay to a mature teen as well as adults. However, having more life experience does help the game's discussions, so different diverse groups would make the game interesting. And the challenges aren't like childish sleepover dares. They might be related to an exercise goal or character building. You can feel to adjust them to be more realistic or applicable for your group. While the game emphasizes completing categories to reach "fulfillment", it does play it safe and seem to avoid religion. As a Christian, fulfillment of my self is found in Jesus, so we just didn't apply those labels the same way.
