This is not an assembly line product. These are made with pride by a family owned and operated business. When my son was born I looked at my life and thought about what I wanted most for him. I decided that it was for him to enjoy his life. That forced me to take a look at my own life. How could I teach my child to enjoy his life when I had failed to enjoy my own? I decided that I couldn’t. When I was younger I had many jobs but there were things that had been life long loves; these were building things, fitness, martial arts, and grappling. With the support of my loving wife I decided to go all in and combine these things into a business. I decided to name this business The Pain Factory. I envisioned a place where it was okay to be broken. A place where people could come and shed the stress of their daily lives and be rebuilt. The tools we would use would be the things that had been my life long passions. Part of what we do is build our own equipment. It has been six years now and the equipment that we build has become an enjoyable part of my and my son's life. There are still struggles but every night I go to bed looking forward to the next day.

**Q: how is this machine better than the TDS brand that sells for half the price of this one and can the gap between the handles be increased to 4 inches?**
A: 4 inche handle id standard on need to increase. This is a completely welded grip machine. By hand fitting and welding the carriage I can make a much smoother grip machine that can hangle 400+lbs.
