You MUST remove the original rear sight leaf AND the rear sight spring in order to install this red dot mount. 2). Please make sure that after removing the rear sight spring, you clean the "groove" and remove dirt and dry cosmoline using a sharp object (the tip of a knife will do). 3). If you own a Yugoslavian SKS with 22mm Grenade Launcher or Zastava M59/66. Be aware that the rear support bracket will not fit in position. When it was placed under the rail and soft mounted its level was way off. I was still able to make it work, but I will probably have an issue with it holding zero.
