I have an aftermarket radio so I had to tighten it quite a bit before it felt really snug. However, after having it for less than a year it will not stay in the CD slot of my radio anymore. I can pull the whole GekoGrip out of my radio with no problems and now I'm scared to put my phone on it because it may fall when I'm driving.The only problem I had was that I have a very thick phone case, so the magnet does not feel as strong as it does new it’s just the magnet touching the mount itself.
