Ice, no Ice that is not the issue. **Q: Could you use this if you are a goalie for shot practice. Would it shoot fast enough for that or not?** A: They don't shoot out super fast for that, but if you have someone one timming them for you...that would be a lot better. It wouldn't work for goalie shot practice. **Q: will the franklin mini balls work with this** A: Hello Robert,This one time passer is meant for street hockey balls.
