Review: GREAT STAND (does not come with mic clip) - Great mic stand. I bought this stand about 9 months ago when my band and I lost our previous one. We've since used it at countless gigs and shows, and it's never failed us. All of the parts tighten well. My only complaint is that the microphone clip is sold seperately. That's pretty lame as almost anyone who is looking to purchase this is also going to purchase the clip, so it would make more sense to sell them together. However, the fact that they're sold seperately is clearly mentioned in the description, so it's not like there's any intentional deception going on.

With some of my other (more expensive) stands, the boom keeps slipping at the pivot point. This one doesn't slip at all, I think because it has slight indentations inside the pivoting device (I don't know what you call it.) The stand is very lightweight, but it's also very sturdy. It just seems to be extremely well designed. It doesn't include a microphone clip or holder. Overall, just a great stand and a great bargain.

Great mic stand. I bought this stand about 9 months ago when my band and I lost our previous one. We've since used it at countless gigs and shows, and it's never failed us. Good for the price. This is a good, light-duty mic stand. I needed something for a talkback mic during band practice and this was perfect for the job. It's light weight and easy to setup. I wouldn't take this one on the road or to gigs. But for light occasional use, it's perfect.
