Also, you need to determine how many BTUs you furnace is and if this 1/2 line is adequate. If in doubt have a pro install the connection with a gas shutoff valve near your furnace. **Q: Can this be connected straight from my meter Outside to my furnace?** A: This is probally to small for that. **Q: I noticed the ring on my current stainless steel flex line and says do not reuse?? is this one reuseable? and this is 1/2"od and 3/8" id? thanks** A: It says not to reuse on the label of my line. My guess is that if you don't have to reposition it, like you are just replacing the appliance, and make sure the fitting is clean, it would work fine. But you should probably ask an expert. **Q: can this be used to connect a 400,000btu pool heater?** A: I am using mine with a 333000 BTU unit. I do take it in in the winter.
