Granted, Duracell can also boast a similar claim but their price is typically considerably higher and any concerns over leakage isn't any greater in one brand versus the other. The key is to replace all your batteries at the same time in the same battery powered unit. Never mix zinc-oxide batteries with alkaline batteries or a potential disaster is bound to eventually happen. Be aware that weaker older batteries left in the unit can also result in premature leakage when you add newer batteries among them by adversely weakening the polarity of all the batteries in that current device they're installed. A leakage with all new batteries installed unless exposed to the elements of weather is highly irregular with most any devices in use when the batteries themselves are installed properly. Another advantage of purchasing Rayovac batteries relates to how they're packaged. They arrive in a resealable and reusable plastic container which appeared undamaged in shipping upon arrival. It was a controlled test over 3 months. Long story short. Rayovac won in every category. Best longevity. Best capacity. Best performance under a load.
