The scent is strong at first, but I think it's because it's real, dried lavender. I have put one in a linen closet that was really musty - cleaned it out first with some orange oil diluted with water, aired it out and then out a sachet in the closet. It has completely eliminated the mustiness and leaves a fresh scent. I also have the others in clothes closets and a front coat closet. ### ⭐⭐ Disappointed *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2016* previously I had left a review saying that I really liked these scented sachets and I did like them when I received them but in a matter of days I could no longer smell any lingering fragrance.
