However, we only use it if needed because it can mess up some surfaces, burn your skin if you forget to put on gloves, etc. One example, we accidentally used it in the shower without paying attention to having sprayed some on the painted chrome shower handle. Discolored it. As well, some plastics can be made cloudy by the cleaner. It's especially great for gooey stuff like cleaning up some glue on surfaces when the Goo Gone doesn't get it all.
