What i did find is that it is a British 1/8th Thread "BSP 1/8th" Found an Adapter on amazon that will adapt to a 1/4" NSP... Not happy with the time i have spent searching for the right piece.... Good Luck! **Q: Can you put a 5" backer pad and discs on this wet polisher? Are the threads 5/8"?** A: yes you can and yes it is 5/8 **Q: How much does the tool vibrate as you are using it? Some of the smaller, basic grinders I have tried vibrate so much don't get an even grind.** A: It is very smooth and well balanced. I didn't use actual grinding wheels. I only used the hook and loop granite polishing pads. It is quieter than my other grinder. **Q: Can this be used for grinding on concrete?** A: I grinded about 600 square feet of edge areas in my basement back in 2010 when I bought it. Ok had to be careful or it would eat the concrete really fast. Still using it today, for grinding and for polishing.
