A: You can, little button on one of the ears, you do have to press it a few times to turn it off.

**Q: Do they require batteries to light up**
A: It already contains a built-in battery. Thanks!

**Q: Are these compatible with new ipads?**
A: These are brilliant headphones for children, however not compatible with current ipads as it has a 3.5mm jack

**Q: Can these be used with an xbox and do you get the connecter for the xbox pad?**
A: These wired headphones only work with the device with the 3.5mm audio jack. Thanks.

Updated, the company saw my review and sent my daughter a new pair. They seem to be working beautifully so far. Thank you again and thank you to Yuko for being such a kind star and going out of their way to fix this issue. Lovely looking headphones especially with the cute light up ears. These where a Christmas present for my child, however they’ve not even lasted 3 months so Wouldn’t recommend.
