This went away in a few days.They are thinner than the original wet brush but are sturdy enough for my girls. After washing, I apply leave-in conditioner and use this brush to detangle, which makes blow drying easier. Since she's tender-headed, after the first usage, she prefers this brush as well. I'm glad it came with two; one of me and one for her.
