    Great case for the price

*by J***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 16, 2016*

I settled on 5 stars for this case because of the value vs. similar cases such as the Corsair Carbide series which usually go for $30+ more. Here's what I found so far with about a month with the case:Size: I came from a large full-size ATX Antec case literally from the year 2000. There was nothing wrong with it except that it was the size of a house and I really didn't need all that space anymore. Also, the wife had been cranky at the aesthetic of it since about say 2001 so really I think I got my value after 16 years and she had had enough of the size. This case is much lighter and shorter (being mid-ATX and not solid steel). The clear side door also brings down the weight quite a bit. It's very sturdy though and no rough edges to snag or cut you. I used just one screwdriver for the whole installation and the rest was tool-less thumbscrews.Fit: I was not used to the hidden cable system but I love it now. If you aren't used to it either, it's simply hiding all that awful cable mess behind the motherboard and pulling out the cables you need just that little bit to fit into their respective slots. This makes the case look so much better and also improves airflow quite a bit. However, my motherboard didn't quite line up with the holes so the end of the mobo hung off about an inch. That made putting some cables in harder than normal and flexed that mobo a bit more than I like.Installation: This took much longer than normal due to the fact I had to learn where to pull the cables through from the back (instead of just the rat's nest up front). Also, I can see how people make this an art by finding the optimal pathways and tying off as neatly as possible. I'll just say I made the front look amazing but the back is the normal rat's nest. I'm sure I could have spent another 2 hours tying off cables better, but nobody can see back there so it's fine for me.PSU: I love the PSU at the bottom, this feeds the cable up through the back and just peeks through enough to fit into the mobo. Then the tangle of cables sit in the compartment hidden away. That was my main problem, those cables would fall down into the mobo area.Fans: It comes with two very large fans which cool nicely. However, I was surprised at the lack of filters in front and back. This is a huge oversight for me as I have 2 cats and hair and dust clogged my old machine constantly. Looks like that will still be a problem. There is one filter at the bottom for the PSU which is nice. I am going to purchase one more 120mm fan as there is plenty of room. I had to throw away my 90mm fans as they don't fit, which is probably a good thing as they are 15+ years old now too.SSD/HD: The drives fit away nicely into any spot you want it (high or low). I opted for a low installation for my 2 SSDs and 1 HD. I ditched the DVD/RW drive finally as I realized I hadn't used it in about 5 years. There's no place for it anyway in this machine.Ports: The front ports are a nice addition. My old Antec had ports hidden behind a door which was the stupidest thing you can think of as it was just open all the time anyway. The two USB 3.0 ports were a little tight at first, but are better now. The power button is bright and center. There's a convenient headphone jack and a mic port as well. I would have liked an SD port up front, but that's about all it's missing.Look: The wife commented how nice it looked and that it was much smaller. So I think I've done my homework correctly. It makes a decent foot rest too (the other one was too high). The window is a nice touch but without an LED light inside, you can't really see anything. The mesh front is a bit odd and holds hair and dust easily (and you can see it). I'm going to have vacuum it out monthly. Luckily, it pops out easily. I also think I'm going to need to blow out dust regularly too as there is nothing inbetween the mesh, fans and my mobo.Noise: The noise is down about 50%. I'm not sure if it's because of the new fans or the larger size or maybe because there's just less 90mm fans, but this thing is dead quiet. Also, my Radeon 390 doesn't kick on to super high on less intensive games. Doom still sends it flying though. I didn't take any heat measurements but it does seem to running much cooler. I'm going to add that last 120mm to see if that helps more.Space: Finally, I like this case because there's plenty of space still. I was very worried coming from the Antec that I wouldn't have room for everything, especially the 390. However, there's just so much room now with better cable management.Very happy for the price. I was willing to drop twice as much because I keep my stuff so long but in this case, I don't think I needed too. Besides having filters for the fans, I'm not missing any features I wanted.

    Pretty nice.

Okay so it looks really good. The images do repeat but that is really minor to me. The problem I am running into is that on the front I have aNZXT Kraken X42 All-in-One 140mm CPU Liquid Cooling System https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Kraken-Cooler-360mm-Black/dp/B079J2N8Q8/ref=sr_1_1?srs=2530039011&ie=UTF8&qid=1531847302&sr=8-1&keywords=kraken+x72. So the problem is that I can not put the front cover on. No big deal for me. I did but new fans for it though. I bought 3 (2 box's) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L64NYPC/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_15 and they are really quiet. There is only one fan in the back none in the top. So not a lot of air cooling. I have a GTX 970 but hoping the wife buys me a 1080 hybrid so I can have my GPU cooled. Honestly no problems with it. It is a good size to have out in the open and not feel like it is taking up the whole room. Easy screw bolts to take both side panels off for my new build. I have other reviews of what I put in it but a quick run down.GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 (Intel LGA1151/Z370/ATX/3xM.2/M.2 Thermal Guard/Front USB 3.1/ESS Sabre DAC/RGB Fusion/Fan Stop/SLI/Motherboard)Intel Core i7-8700K Desktop Processor 6 Cores up to 4.7GHz Turbo Unlocked LGA1151 300 Series 95WG.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 4133MHz (PC4 33000) Desktop Memory Model F4-4133C19D-16GTZR2 - Samsung 860 EVO 500GB M.2 SATA Internal SSD (MZ-N6E500BWEVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 850W, Fully Modular, EVGA ECO Mode, 10 Year Warranty, Includes FREE Power On Self Tester, Power Supply 220-P2-0850-X1So plenty of room even if my wife buys me the 1080 hybrid.Only gave it 4 since there is not room for more fans.

It is quite easy to work with

*by V***K on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 6, 2018*

It is quite modular inside. There are 5 different positions for SSD. I mounted mine on top of HDD cage, so fan will blow air thru it. It is spacious. There are a lot of space to work with. It has enough space on the back to put all cables there. A lot of stuff for cable management. It uses push pin for front fan and has 4 spare pushpins. It is quite easy to work with. Everybody stated that this case has 7 stand offs. My case has one preinstalled and ATX board requires 9. So, it should be at least 8. I put 8 and I think I have 3 more left. Initially I did screw them by hand and it was really hard. Later I found socket and used screw driver for this and it is much easier. I couldn’t unscrew 2.5” cage by hands as well as 3.5” cage. I had to use screwdriver. You have to use screwdriver to remove brackets when you install video card. Power supply sits at the bottom and covered by plastic cover. And it has rubber parts to fix you power supply and to reduce vibrations from it. Case has 4 rubber feet. Keep this in mind if you are planning to overclock. I will try to make it faster as my motherboard allows to do so. They are really quiet. I moved front fan to top position, so it will blow to CPU and video card.Keep in mind that that bolt that keeps plastic over power supply is different from any other bolts.I had one issue with 2.5” cage. I need to use force to place Samsung 860 Evo in it. Sides of cages where not parallel so I have to make them parallel.
