White looks great! *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2016* I used to have a PRO dentist provided whitening tray that was well over $500 for the kit. The active ingredient is the same (tastes the same and everything). I lost the kit a while back but didn't want to go back and spend all that money for a new one. This showed up and was much more reasonable. I used it and the trays are tricky to get molded the first time. You have to make sure the outer fins don't get bitten down by your teeth since that is the part that will hold the carbamide against your teeth to whiten them. After you get the trays made (the most important part) they you use just a little of the gel and smear it with a q-tip or your pinky to get it to distribute evenly. I made a small mark in my lower tray to keep them separated. You can feel the difference but I hate pulling them off and starting over. I don't know if the light helps but it makes it look high tech and reminds you not to keep them on TOO LONG. Stick with the plan because too long means tooth sensitivity. I left mine in overnight (on my old dentist trays) and I was miserable for a week of tooth sensitivity. I rinse them really well and let the trays dry. I also brush with sensodyne toothpaste when I get done to make sure I reduce the tooth sensitivity. Heed the instructions for 5 minutes at first then skip a day and then try 10 minutes. Then you can increase to once a day. If you don't it will give you some shocky teeth that will bug you. Sensodyne makes it all work with me since it seals up those tooth pores you pull open with the bleaching trays so you won't get shocky teeth. I used it exactly according to the directions, 15 minutes at a time each day for 17 days. Zero difference. I treated only my bottom teeth so I could see the difference compared to my upper teeth and nothing. I checked in every light, artifical and in sun, and asked others to check. Not an iota change in color in my lower teeth compared to my uppers.However disappointing the result was for me, I will say it was well packaged, the instructions on how to use the product, heat form the mouth trays, and the generous amount of whitening product offered in the package is accurately represented in the photo.
